Thomas Ricketts was christened in Marston Sicca, Gloucestershire on 6 May 1787 the son of George Ricketts and Elizabeth Cooper. whose children were:

He died on the Christmas Eve of 1872 at 5 Court Coleman Street at the age of 85 from old age 'senectus certified' having been an invalid since the 1861 census when his wife was supporting the family as a laundress. His death was registered by George Ricketts of 84 Willis Street Aston this was most probably his son (who in 1861 was living next door to another of his children, Susannah Jinks in Coleman Street). His occupation at death was a Caster
