After her marriage Maude moved to Kent with her new husband Jesse who was a manger of Masons Butter Merchants.
He was sacked with no warning one day and they moved to Chirbury Shropshire, where Jesse originated from, where they had a b and b. Although in 1911 he was living in Aston and working as a grocer
